Faith in the week
Four ways the faith shows up
Small and regular, so it becomes part of the day.
School Mass
Once a week the school walks to the parish church for Mass. Families may join, and the readings are said in English and Spanish.
Morning prayer
The day begins with a short prayer in each classroom.
Religion class
A weekly lesson on the faith and on how it is lived at home and in town.
Service
Each class has a job around the parish, such as helping at the festival or visiting older parishioners.
Every family
Catholic or not, you are welcome
St. Isidore is a Catholic school, and it is also a school for the neighborhood. Families of other faiths and of none send their children here, and you will not be asked about your faith to apply.
Children who are not Catholic join the prayers and lessons as guests and sit out of the sacraments.
No question about your faith to apply
