A day at school
From the first prayer to the last bell
The rhythm is the same in every grade, so children know what comes next.

Step 1: Doors open
A teacher is at the door, and before care opens for the families who use it.

Step 2: Morning prayer
The school prays together, then children go to their first class.

Step 3: Morning classes
Reading, writing, math and a religion lesson, when minds are fresh.

Step 4: Lunch and recess
Lunch together in the hall, then time outdoors when the weather allows.

Step 5: Afternoon classes
Science, history, art and music. On Fridays the school walks to the parish church for Mass.

Step 6: Dismissal
A teacher walks each child to the right car or bus line, and after care runs until 5:30 pm.
Lunch
Lunch at the long tables
Children eat together in the hall, class by class, with a teacher at each table. Families send a lunch, and the office keeps a list of allergies that each teacher can see.
